On August 4, 2024, in Ankara, Türkiye, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Xiamen C&D Hi-Tek Co., Ltd. and Orbit Enerji Haberleşme Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., one of Türkiye’s leading energy storage companies.

The two parties agreed to cooperate in areas such as the lithium battery product supply chain and the joint development of solar power plants + energy storage projects in Europe. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Vahit Kaya, Chairman of the Board of Orbit Enerji, and Mr. Shen Jie, Vice President of C&D Hi-Tek.

Since 2023, both parties have established a close partnership and engaged in in-depth cooperation in supply chain services, with C&D Hi-Tek continuously providing Orbit with lithium cells and related products. According to the agreement, the parties have decided to further strengthen their existing supply chain cooperation and expand the product range to include lithium battery cells, battery modules, BESS systems, and other related products and solutions. This collaboration aims to enhance Orbit’s operational capabilities, increase its market share, and boost its sustainable growth and innovation capacity.

In addition, the parties have agreed to jointly develop solar and energy storage projects in the EMEA region. The first project within this framework will be the construction of a 133 MW solar power plant based on the EPC+F model, targeting European investors.
