With the rapid expansion of 4G and 5G technologies, energy continuity has become a critical requirement for communication networks. To meet this need, Orbit Energy has set a new industry standard with its locally engineered LiFePO₄ battery systems, designed to replace traditional VRLA batteries.

The Orbit Telecom Series Battery Systems are produced for 12 V – 48 V configurations, with capacities ranging from 50 Ah to 300 Ah. These compact and durable systems deliver high energy density, low maintenance, and long cycle life, making them ideal for outdoor cabinets, base stations, ATMs, and IoT device infrastructures.

Compared to VRLA batteries, LiFePO₄ systems offer higher energy and power density, lower weight, reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), faster charging, and an integrated smart monitoring system (BMS), while maintaining reliable performance down to –20 °C — representing a revolutionary step in telecom power management.

Both the BMS and LiFePO₄ systems are designed and manufactured by Orbit Energy, fully compatible with UPS infrastructures and telecom energy management systems. With temperature-controlled cell architecture and a compact rack-type design, they ensure maximum efficiency and reliability in remote sites, base stations, and ATM systems.
